Hello! I’m Abby Murphy, and as it says in the sidebar, this blog is a record of my work as the Photo Editor and Associate Photo Editor for Towson University’s student-run newspaper, the Towerlight. I graduated from Towson University, majoring in English and French with a minor in Ancient Mediterranean Studies, in 2016. Many of the photos here are from Towerlight photo assignments, but I also shot other things for fun. Of all things I covered, I have a passion for the arts, especially theatre and dance.
Photography has been a hobby of mine for years, starting in around 2008 with a little Canon point-and-shoot camera. For Towerlight assignments, I shot with a Canon 7D, and other things I shot with my Nikon D3100. Photos are edited with Photoshop.
